RETURN TO SENDER

RTS is a multi-layered project created in collaboration with artist Liz Kobusinge. The poetry collection within the zine recounts the rejection Ugandan women experience at three patriarchal levels: by the father/head of the house, the institution (in this case, the church), and the state. In addition to the limited-edition zines, RTS was showcased as a multimedia performance and illustration exhibition.
